What's so swell about S'well?

I had been wondering this ever since I spotted one this summer at a store near South Front, a Lilly Pulitzer signature store in New Bern, NC. So wait, what are you talking about? A S'well bottle. Now you may ask why I am writing about a water bottle, but I see that a lot of you preps do physical activity, carry bottles around, or just love to hear about new and up-rising items that you NEED to test out for yourself!

With their different qualities and unique looking designs I started to wonder, what's so special about this water bottle?  So I took it into my own hands and did some research...with such amazing reviews and it's outstanding impact on people's lives, I've decided to share it with you all. Here's some background info to help you understand just a little bit more on how the S'well bottle became so popular.

It was first "thought up" by Sarah Kauss in 2010 when she was on a hike and realized that she was drinking warm water from a water bottle. Her mission was to eliminate the waste of plastic bottles. In the U.S., an estimated 50 billion bottles are dumped in landfill sites yearly, and 200 billion globally. As quoted "At S'well, we understand it's important to be a part of the solution" and that is why they have teamed up with many charity's working to solve the consumption of unclean water in other countries around the world.

So far, so good. The bottle seemed to me like a well crafted "fashionable" way to carry water with a good cause. I quickly found out, however that it's not only about the looks. What mattered most was on the inside...

The bottle is made of double layered stainless steel to keep you cold beverage cold for 24 hours and your hot drinks hot for 12. Plus, you wont taste a metal taste in your beverage and it is toxin free! Thus making it light-weight yet durable. After watching many videos I found that it will NOT sweat (guarenteed).

Also, the lids have a suctioned seal to them making it a mess free and yes, child proof bottle. It comes in MANY colors and designs such as marble, wood, hearts, etc. and the color DOES NOT chip off. Just to make it even better, monogram's can be put on bottles and here's what it looks like! They have a great grip to them and after seeing all these positives, I had to wonder..is it all true? YES!! I watched videos of people putting ice cubes in them and letting them sit in 95+ degree weather for hours and hours and the ice cubes were still there and freezing! Over all, I was extremely impressed with this company and the motives behind creating this handy bottle! Turns out, a lot of swell can come in a small package. :)

Fall Essentials

I know SO many people have already made a "fall essentials" blog post, but why can't I?! Here are some of the cutest fall trends I've seen on the rise recently...

Booties

Booties are already a hit. What's so great about them, is that there are so many different designs and pairs that they're unique, but still following the trend. Mine are from "Nine West" and are super comfy!

Vests

Vests were popular last year as well, but this year, designer's are getting a little fancy...this casual, dressy look is coming back with some fringe and fur added, letting everyone else know who's the boss in the room.

Plaid Blanket Scarfs

Last year I hosted a giveaway with a few other bloggers giving away a plaid blanket scarf. At first I didn't know how to feel about it because I didn't think they were very cute to be honest. But now with different ways to wear them, they're on an up-rise and coming back into style.

Dresses/Skirts and Scarfs

One thing I really notice every day is that people are really taking risks when trying to be prigional. Before this fall, I don't remember seeing people where either dresses or skirts paired with scarves, but this year I'm seeing a lot of it! It really is a cute was to add some fun to any outfit!

That's it for my main Fall Trends so  far, but if you see any new one's or have any ideas, let me know. xx all my Preps!

P.S. I would like to note that some of these images are from Google search engine and other websites.
