Happy 4th!

Hey ya'll!

So for the 4th of July, I had a ton of fun getting to hang out with family and friends! I started off by celebrating with a neighborhood kick back on the 3rd! On the 4th, my family had a grill out, and we watched some fireworks! I am the type of person who likes to plan my outfits out before hand, usually one casual, one layed-back, and one fancy! Down below I have some images of all three of of these looks, plus some of my favorite accessories and pictures from last night and today!

This is my "fancy" outfit that I wore the night of the 4th at my family's grill out and fireworks! This outfit features american eagle (3/4 length sleeves red shirt), red camel lace shorts, a bubble necklace (tan and white), and platinum jack rogers! When planning outfits, I take in consideration that we need to always be classy, but we can have a little but of sassy in us, too :), so I try to always keep the cut of my tops never low enough to see any cleavage (let's be real ya'll, it's a thing every girl has to be cautious about), and of course, nothing to be hanging out of the shorts.

For my layed-back look, I usually end up wearing a simple tank and some shorts. Sometimes though...I feel like I turn out looking like I have a little hipster in me as well. So I would think that this is somewhat of a "preppy-hipster-ish" outfit. Yeah, we're gonna make that a thing. So I always start off with a tank top that's comfy, this one is from American Eagle outfitters as well. Then this time, I chose high waisted shorts...I mean, who doesn't love them! I find that they show off our curves so well, and the best thing about them, is that they're easy and cheap to make...yes, I said MAKE!! First I start with a pair of "mom jeans" as I like to call them. Hey, no hate towards them, they just aren't my type. But the majority of mom jeans are high waisted, and not hard to find now-adays for little-to-no money! Comment down below if ya'll would like to see a blog about how-to, high waisted shorts! Mine are from "Capezio- authentic jeans"! Lastly I paired them with some Converse All-Star tennis shoes. And I have to tell you, I did not like this trend at first, but as soon as I purchased my pair, they turned out to be my go-to shoe for many occasions. I topped this outfit off with a pair of dangly gold detailed cut out earrings from handpicked!

Here is a photo of my casual outfit that I wore to the neighborhood kick-back! I usually go for something really comfortable so I chose to wear some cut off shorts from Lucky Brand, a blue Guy Harvey long sleeve pocket tee, and rainbow bonefish thick strap sandals. I wore this with of course, pearls, and where I'm from, it was not warm the night of the 3rd, so this outfit was perfect for hanging out with friends and playing fun yard games like corn-hole and football.

Here are some photo's of the details of my first outfit:

I chose to add my Vera Bradley wallet on the side just to add some white and blue accents to my outfit. This wallet is great for holding everything in it...literally everything. My whole purse is in that wallet, as we speak.

Here are some photo's of my more casual, layed back outfit:

For this outfit, I added my side purse from Hand Picked. I always use it to make any outfit look a little more dressed up.

That's it for the 4th of July blog! I hope ya'll enjoyed it and had an amazing fourth because 'Merica rocks! Subscribe to my blog to be notified when I post! Tell me what you did to celebrate the fourth below! Other than that, party on while reppin' your red, white, and blue my fellow American's!

xoxo,
