9 Weeks of Bloggers (Collab + Q&A)

This week's collab is a Q&A with my dear friend Cathleen from Classy Cathleen! Her information will be at the end of the post so make sure to check her out! We asked you guys to ask US some questions and got a number of reply's! **We did not add the user name's of the askers for safety and private factors** ALSO if you said any additional comments when you asked your questions, I answered them on the side with the "{}" barrack things! So without further a do, lets get started!

1. What is your go to/must have preppy item (clothing, accessory, etc.)?

I absolutely LOVE t-shirt's! There's nothing better than a soft, comfy t-shirt to wear 24/7 :) {No problem girl, I'll always be here and thank you SO much gorgeous!! <3}

2. What is your favorite preppy brand if you had to choose one?

Honestly, it'd have to be Jadelynn Brooke! It sounds typical, but it's not because I am a rep for the brand! When I collab with other brands, I make sure that the brand has amazing quality and connections with their fans! That's why I love JLB so much! They've always had the most interest in talking to ALL girls whether they buy or not, and send hand written notes specifically to you! I've always loved that about them. {Thank you so much!! You're the sweetest :)}

3. Have you ever missed the first day of school?!

No!! I have always been the type to "prepare" for the first day as well, plus my mom it the  type that never lets me miss a SINGLE day!

4. How do style sporty items with a preppy twist?

Well some sporty styles are pretty bland (because their usually worn by people who are going to sweat and get all nasty and dirty in them), but (since I don't actually work out, lol) I try to add bright colors, and usually a tote with a vest or baseball cap! As for the main pieces, just some exercise cut-off leggings and a t-shirt!

5. What is your favorite Lilly Pulitzer print?

Oh my goodness!!!! That would have to be Pink Lemonade. Literally MY. FAV.

6. What is your favorite trend of the moment?

Probably booties. They're so easy to pair with anything and are super comfy!

7. If only one half of you're phone worked, which would you want it to be? Top or bottom????

Top! Gotta have that selfie cameraaaaaa! Just kidding, I just love taking pictures :)

8. Do u like Harry Potter? If so what house do you think you would be in and who is your favorite character?

YES. One thing ya'll may have not known about me is that i'm a huge harry potter fan! It's hard for me to find something to read, but I absolutely love those! I would be in Gryfindor! Ron is most like me and would be my best friend probably! And probably Harry! {That means we're probably twins!!}

9. Where is your favorite place to shop?

Pink Sorbet! Hands-down favorite place EVER! Such great customer service and variety as well as prices!

10. What's your favorite movie from Disney?

Toy Story! Always been a child hood favorite :)

11. If you could have any superpower, what would it be?

Invisibility because then I could steal my sisters clothes without getting in trouble for it :)

12. If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

Charleston, SC! It's my favorite place and probably always will be!

13. Favorite type of pen (i know you have one haha)?

Any BIC ball-point pin that has a grippy on it (but bright colors only!!)

14. What do you want to be when you grow up?

I have no clue! But I either want to own a Lilly Pulitzer Signature store or go into dental hygienist-ry!

15. Are you more like Serena or Blair?

I have no clue because I don't watch Gossip Girl (I know!!! It's bad :() Which-ever one is more happy positive and outgoing!

16. Dogs or cats?

Dogs! I have 4 cats but love dog's personalities much more :)

17. Beach or mountains?

Beach! It's so peaceful to be in a beach environment any time of the year.

18. East coast or west coast?

East. That's where it's at :)

19. Starbucks order?

Java Chip Frappaucino Grande with extra chocolate drizzle or a Ginger-ale with heavy carbonation or lemon lime refresher!

20. How tall are you?

5'6

21. What does your average day look like?!

I usually get up SUPER early (5:30-6), get a shower, get ready, go to school, come home from school, work on blogging, do homework, and go to sleep! Then repeat a ton of times!! Haha, not super interesting, but it's the truth :)

22. Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging because I wanted to connect with my followers on a personal level so that they could get to know me better :) (P.S.: Love you all SO much!! I love talking to you guys :))

Ya'll. I absolutely LOVED writing this blog post for ya'll! I loved all of these interesting questions and getting to talk to ya'll :) Head over to Cathleen's blog (listed below) for her answers!! Please DM me or tweet me or comment! I want to talk to YOU if I haven't already! :)

9 Weeks of Bloggers (Collab + Outfits for the Week)

For this week of bloggers collab, I have teamed up with 6 other girls to bring you a total of 7 OOTD post's! After reading, check out the other girl's blogs below! If you're new to my blog, hello!! I am so glad to have you here :) Click around to find out more about me!

So for my outfit, I decided to wear a navy blue long sleeve t-shirt with a creme colored vest, some skinny jeans, bean boots, and some David Yurman and a target watch! I also added some Dunking Donuts iced coffee because why not?

Vest: Belk (listed blow)
Bracelet: David Yurman
Watch: Target

I chose this outfit just because it was simple, easy, and comfy for those chilly winter days!

Socks: Belk

Yes, navy blue does blend in with blue jeans so if you decide that you want something more neutral based with different tones, you can always switch out the jeans for leggings!

I unfortunately did not get many photos of this outfit because it decided to storm for the past few days in SC, but it's some pretty basic, comfy pieces!

Check out these other blogs for the rest of the days of the week:

New Year, New Playlist

Hey guys! So recently I've been seeing a lot of playlist posts on others blogs and it's been super interesting reading them and finding different people's types of music! I always want to tell ya'll a little more about myself, so in today's blog post you're going to find out what songs are my favorites!

I've never really had a "favorite type of music" to be honest! I love all type's! For example, country is probably my favorite but unless shuffle is doing a fantastic job that day, I can't listen to it more than an hour. Also, I have random spurts of hyperness sometimes when I'm on road trips or just jammin' in the car and I need different music for that. So i've compied about 10 of my favorite songs right now for 3 genre's, rap, country, and alternative. So there's sure to be something you'll love!

Okay guys! So I plan on doing more blog posts like this one because I think it really helps you know more about me! Also, if you know any of the rap songs, you probably laughed or thought I was crazy for listing them. What can I say, I get down to the majority of them, haha! See ya around :)

xx,
Hannah

9 Weeks of Bloggers (Dress Down to Up! + Collab #2)

Hey ya'll! This is the second week of the 9 weeks of bloggers collab and I'm excited to tell you that this week I worked with Brooke from @brookalinaballerina! We have collabed to bring you a post about how to dress more casual to down dressed pieces and make them look as if you put time into planning your outfit! When your done reading, don't forget to head over to her blog and check hers out!

So for my outfit I chose to result to a long sleeved t-shirt and some work-out leggings because those are my alternative pieces if i'm running late or just feeling like I don't want to dress up that day! I also threw on a vest because it's so cold in South Carolina right now (believe it or not). You can also choose to switch it up with jeans, a plain long-sleeved dressier t-shirt, or whatever you'd like!

If you're looking to dress up an outfit, the details are going to complete it for you. For shoes I chose the red white and blue tall converse shoes. You can always change this to tennis shoes, uggs, or other winter-type shoes! I also switched it up a little bit and paired it with some aviators and a simple tote to make it look as if i'm going for that laid back look.

I also added a simple ring to it. You can always add a watch or statement necklace, but I didn't want to over-do it so I kept it simple.

That it for this weeks collab! Stay posted for some exciting upcoming blogs by subscribing by email!

Hannah

Mini New Years Eve Hall + Special Present?! (Meeting @theofficialprep)

Hey Guys! So my gorgeous friend, Samantha (also known as @theofficialprep) and I decided to do a shopping trip on New Years Eve! Keep in mind that we'd never met each other before but we had met over our blogging Instagram's about a year ago, so this was kind of  a crazy idea! I'd always wanted to meet another blogger and she was just my first out of many to come! I have a couple of you on my list that I am hoping to meet soon. :) So our plan was to head to Columbiana Mall and arrive around 11 am and leave around one....well on the way there, she mentioned Half Moon Outfitters and Pink Sorbet (which she had never been to) so of course we had to stop by! Here's some pictures from Pink Sorbet (which she adored!!!) P.S.: The store was vacant and the owners know me pretty well so we didn't embarrass ya'll too much :)

By the way, First Impressions selfies are to die for because the vibrant pink reflects onto your face perfectly.

And...we just brought mirror selfie's back!!!

Now drum role please...I wanted to try on some un-typical pieces that day so I tried on these little skinnies. At the time,  I wasn't a fan, but looking back on it, I think I rocked them.

So after being an hour late to Columbiana and finally arriving, we got some food. Yes, I was starving!!! What a better way to fill up than....Chick Fil A?! After we finished eating, we went to Victoria's secret, Forever 21, and a couple other little stores! Surprisingly, I only bought a couple little things this shopping trip.

Many of you probably haven't heard of Dazzle Up, but basically it's a pretty large boutique somewhat in the back of Columbiana Mall. The Mall is in a "T" shape and you walk in at the bottom of the "t". You would turn left to the left branch of the "t", walk as far as you can go straight, the Dazzle Up will be one of the 2 or 3 stores on the right. This was about my 4th time visiting it, and it has yet to disappoint! Their jewelry is great quality and gorgeous! PLUS, it's always on sale!

I got this gorgeous ring. It is so light and I got so many compliments on the first day of wearing it!

Next, I got these two beautiful tastle bracelets (both pictured above) and the smaller bead bracelets! All of what I have listed so far was in a 6 for $10 deal. NOW I know that doesn't add up to 6, but that's only becuase the rest I purchased for giveaways and they're pretty much a secret! But if you were wondering what the tastle bracelets are made out of, I found out that they're made up of stacked sequins with accent pieces throughout! So cool, right?!

Last (but technically first) purchase of the day was a Half Moon Outfitter's T-Shirt! When I was little, I always wanted one of these but never got one because of the price, but this time they were on sale for $9.99 which you can't beat! I just got the simple short sleeve Flower Logo T-shirt in white, and I made sure to get a large for those days where I just want to feel comfy.

On the way out we also went to Belk's section of Lilly. Although we did not get to spend too much time there, I got a little snipet of what it looks like for you feat my face.

And last but not least, as said earlier in the post, I met @theofficialprep and she gave me this adorable present that I am just in love with!! "A woman with good shoes is never ugly" is such a true statement especially for me because I just absolutely am crazed over my shoes!!

Thank ya'll so much for stopping by for yet another "story time"! I really hope ya'll enjoyed this blog post as much as I did!

xx,
Hannah

9 Weeks of bloggers (OOTD + Collab #1)

SO! I have some exciting news for ya'll! Today is the start of 9 Weeks of Bloggers! Basically what this is, is a series of blog collab's with other amazingly talented bloggers! Every Friday there will be a "9 Weeks of Bloggers" collab up! With a total of 9, we will end at the end of February! Don't worry, I'll still reguarly post other blogs, but I am work on some super fun things for you guys! This is a fun way to kick off the new year and help ya'll meet other bloggers like myself! So without further a do, let's get into our first collab!

For this collab, I worked with my dear friend Samantha (@theofficialprep) who you've probably heard about before! We're bringing to you an outfit of the day specifically focusing on any short sleeve dresses you might have! We also decided to choose some bright patterns for you just so that you can see how easy it is to over-come wearing seasonal pieces throughout the entire year, year-round!

I chose to style my Lilly Pulitzer Fryer Shift in Limeade for two different seasons! Winter and Summer. For wearing it during the summer, I decided to keep it classy and simple. I just slipped on my gold Jack Roger heels and a monogrammed acrylic necklace and I'm done! Simple and easy. But if you don't want to be so revealing, you can just add a light cardigan  over the dress and you should be good to go! Also, if you want to to add some accessories, you can try simple pearl earrings or a side purse or wristlet! Try to keep it as simple as can be though. Printed dresses during the summer are perfect for doing all the talking themselves.

Dress: Lilly Pulitzer
Shoes: Jack Rogers
Monogrammed Necklace: Dazzle Up Boutique

Winter can be a little harder to wear  bright colored summer dresses, but don't worry. I've got your back! All you have to do for this is find some flats, tall boots, or rain-boots that match your dress and you're 1/2 way there! Then all you need is a cardigan or sweater to pair it up with! Try to stay away from dark colors like black and mud-brown. Those can be hard to find matching cardigans and sweaters for! I'm broad shouldered and sweaters don't help with that, so I added a plain creme and white bubble necklace to attract the eye inwards making my upper half appear less wide. I also added my side purse but made sure to keep the accessorizing to a minimum so that we don't take away from this beautiful print.

Dress: Lilly Pulitzer
Sweater: Wet Seal
Shoes: Steve Madden
Necklace: Target

This is a pretty simple and easy tip, but try to keep summer colors bright, vibrant, and eye-catching, and winter colors more neutral! And always remember that what ever pieces you decide to wear, you'll look beautiful and stunning in! Samantha also styled her dress over at her blog! Go check it out and also catch up with her social media below! That's it for this weeks collab, but I'll see you soon for some more blog fun!
